Celina Duffy, a highly respected Filipino Martial Arts Expert (Guru?). Guru Duffy, is a long term student of Wing Chun under the expert tutelage of Grandmaster Robert Chu, she was humble, charming and so enthusiastic. Hailing from California she made time to visit Master Maliks newly relocated Hq. However, her true passion lies in the art of Stick and Knives. She comes froma well respected family of Escrimadors and trains hard to honour the family and heritage of her Art..................................................The first photo was deliberately focussed on the fist of Master Abdul Malik. The third photo is stunning caligraphy of the history of Wing Chun Kuen. This is a copy of the writing of Grandmaster Ip Man. It is exquisitely written, and has to be seen close up. Although James Sinclair is not teaching Wing Chun at St Neots on Tuesdays through August, it seems he is not allowed to get away from the Art. In this photo James is with Master Abdul Malik and Sifu Abdullah of ‘The Wing Chun School’.James visited The Wing Chun School HQ in Hackney last night.Master Abdul Malik is a man who personifes and exemplifies the the title of Si-Gung. His humility is only balanced by his genuine ability and knowledge within the Art. Do not underestimate this true gentleman. Many thanks to everyone for extending the smiles, the friendship and the warmth of the welcome. A great class full of motivated and dediated individuals, all working together as Kung Fu Brothers, and loving the Art.The Wing Chun School#thewingchunschool #ukwckfa ... See MoreSee Less
Here is a short video that discusses some 'potential' uses for the Pau Bong 'Casting Bong' of the #wingchun #chamkiu 3rd section. The Pau Bong is used a little more indiscriminately in an attempt to catch something. Think of it like a fishing net being thrown out. The high elbow of a Bong Sau is both a strength and weakness in the Art. The space it creates can be so useful, but can also be used against you. Something we are sure you are all aware of.This once again is only a short clip from a far longer discussion. As such it may bring up more questions or arguments. As these were like discussed in the full 30minute video we will not enter into discussions. We have to say we have noticed a large upturn in people watching our videos. Whilst gratifying to see, it would be appreciated if you chose to follow the UKCKFA or simply like the videos. Don't be shy, we only bite at close range, and you guys are in front of screens!!!#wingchunrayleigh #wingchunleicester #wingchunbedford #wingchun #ukwckfa #kungfu #martialarts #vingtsun #China #hongkong ...
